We have been busy little bees around here, working on many special projects, most of which have been considered Top Secret until this week. Now, we’re ready to share the fun with all of you!
But first: I thought my week was going bad? You know, all the sickness, all the two-year-old-calling-in-the-middle-of-the-night…night after night after night. I thought I was miserable. It turns out, my week isn’t nearly as bad as my brother-in-law’s. He attends Union University, and his dorm was destroyed by a tornado yesterday evening! So I might have been having a bad day, but something tells me his was much worse.
Anyhow, on to the happy news…I am pleased to announce that my husband’s book, Culture Makers, is coming along nicely. We don’t have an exact date of release yet, but I will be sure to announce it once we have one. He has worked so hard, and we were thrilled when we received the cover art this week. Check it out:

Wow! I feel so out of touch with you! When was the last time we had a real conversation? Why didn’t I know about this? I feel like a bad friend. Sorry! But CONGRATULATIONS! I’m excited and I can’t wait for my very own SIGNED copy. Please don’t forget me!

Well, probably not. But last I checked, there weren’t any stores near you. 🙂 However, you mountain folk are free to virtual shop. Amazon will have it. We will also have our own stock (this way he can bring along copies at speaking engagements and such). I might sell some excess here on Afterthoughts if the office gets too crowded. 🙂
