This just in! I mean, seriously…I went to Office Depot in the dark! I love having an eight-year-old. The only reason I got my plans done in time is because he helped. For instance, I handed him a copy of The Book of Virtues with instructions to pick out nine stories he wanted his sisters to hear that I hadn’t yet read aloud in Circle Time.
Delegation is key, my friends, and don’t you forget it!
Friend L. suggested last term that I use an Excel spreadsheet instead of Word docs. I took her advice, and I love it. Between using a spreadsheet and having all the memory work organized in The Binder, my plans seem way simpler when I look at them. And I like that!
