    Random GAPS Diet Hint #2: Let Your Sink Clean Your Vegetables

    You can spend a lot of time cleaning fruits and vegetables on GAPS. This is especially true once you start juicing. I said before that I can’t afford to buy everything organic, so it’s very important that I get my food truly clean. I am using this tip from Pinterest to prepare for meals and juicing. In fact, I have found that a sink full of fruits and vegetables will make juice enough for our family for two days {we only drink a few ounces each}. So…I fill the sink with produce, add a quarter cup of vinegar and cover with warm water. I set a timer for 10 minutes and when it buzzes, I know I’m ready.
