    Principles are Practical (New Freebie!)

April 8, 2015 by Brandy Vencel

Mystie and I love to talk about the practical side of educational principles. It’s a passion for both of us — to think through how to take what can seem so abstract and esoteric and flesh it out in real life. We decided to make a video in which we discussed and gave examples of three educational principles in action. Two of them are from Charlotte Mason (of course) and one is from John Hodges.

    Principles Are Practical

Making it was great fun, and I really hope it’s a blessing to all of you. It’s the sort of conversation we homeschool moms need to have, and keep on having.

So, with that said, this video is free for all Afterthoughts email subscribers! If you already subscribe, the viewing information will appear at the bottom of each email so that no one misses it. If you don’t already subscribe, well … what are you waiting for? 🙂 Join the Afterthoughts community, already!

I couldn’t agree more that principles are practical…especially as they inform our methods and inspire us as educators!
