
Encountering Opposing Ideas: A Catholic Reads Westward Ho!
I am not a fan of the book, Beautiful Girlhood by M. Hale. The author comes across like a chiding great aunt, who has long forgotten what it’s like to be a girl herself, priggishly declaring that girls don’t have the perspective to know what is good for them. She may be right, but she is a dreadful companion.
