The Teaching Reading with Bob Books method uses a special binder system in order to simply and easily tailor the frequency of review to the needs of each individual child. This free guide explains exactly what you need and how to build the TRwBB Binder so that you can get started teaching right away. Just click here because this binder is the cornerstone when it comes to teaching reading the TRwBB way. Don’t forget to also download your Binder Cover.
So let’s say you’ve gathered your supplies. You’ve got your binder, lined paper, and pens. You’ve reserved yourself some time with your student, about 15 minutes per day. What now?
Reading lessons in my home generally follow this pattern… continue reading if you’d like to read more details of an average day TRwBB’s lesson.

When your child finishes Bob Books Set 5, he can’t just jump into chapter books. In fact, the five sets plus the two sight words sets do not teach all the necessary phonics rules. Be that as it may, our Bob Books graduates can read some books, for sure. Here are five wonderful authors that are not to be missed!
#1 Arnold Lobel best known for his Frog and Toad series of books.
#2 Else Holmelund Minarik‘s Little Bear series
#3 Cynthia Rylant‘s Henry and Mudge easy readers series
#4 Russell Hoban‘s most famous character, Frances.
#5: Peggy Parish: America’s clumsiest maid, Amelia Bedelia

Option 1: The digital option
Purchase the lessons {there are quantity options in the cart so that you can easily select however many you need}, download them, and then give them to the recipient. This can be done via email, of course. Or you can put them on a flash drive, wrap the drive, and present it as a gift.
Option 2: The physical option
This is one-part handmade gift, I think. Once again, you purchase the lessons, but this time you do all the legwork for the recipient. Gather the materials for the student binder and set it all up so that the recipient doesn’t need to do anything other than open the binder and start teaching.

It doesn’t take magic to raise readers. Children who grow up to be readers have parents who read, have books read aloud to them, and have access to good books at home. I’m sure there are other things, but these are big ones!
There are many Christmas pictures books. A few rise above the rest, and you can find those here.
